Green Gardens Quilt
Oh blergh, it’s really not garden time anymore is it? We canned up a round of tomatoes and am coming to terms that it’s months before the tomatoes come back.
Everything is still green and fall greens are hopping. I’m excited to have fresh grown salad starting tomorrow.
I’m also excited about this quilt. I’m using up a lot of scraps – I apparently have accumulated a lot of chartreuse fabric.
I’d like to say that I got these squares on point with out too much seam ripping but yes, I did a lot of seam ripping. Matt suggested I could leave it at the angle and invent the triangle quilt, but I do think I’ll go ahead and square it up.
I’m thinking I want to invest in a fancier seam ripper. Mine is years old and I think the blade is actually getting dull.
I’m sharing this with the Manic Monday link party – though I wish I was feeling just a little more manic this Monday…

Oh it’s a real love/hate relationship with the seam ripper isn’t it!
Your quilt is looking great so far though! Fab use of scraps!
