Friendship Bracelet Quilt

Friendship bracelet quilt

Friendship bracelet quiltThe lovely From Blank Pages blog is celebrating friendship and friendship bracelets this month. I love the idea, and this quilt popped into my head while running errands. It’s definitely a loose interpretation of the theme – with the idea of weaving and some modern updates of 80’s oranges and dramatic rose fabric from Anna Maria Horner.

It’s a simple baby quilt, which since it is raining babies these days, I am in need of just stacks of these for my friends.

I’m also happy for the opportunity to take a picture in my new favorite picture space – the crazy overgrown front garden.

Last but not least, part of this challenge was to dig up an 80’s picture – I wasn’t quite yet old enough to make friendship bracelets in this picture, but it is one of my favorites.

Hint: I’m the one in the dress.

I’m also linking up to the fun folks at http://quiltstory.blogspot.com/

And many offer free trials that will give you time to
see if it’s the right tool for you. Also, that whole Determining Gapless playback process might take awhile in your new library, too. For the GPA customers information – you can move your Great Plains Accounting database from such platforms as Novell, Windows NT, Windows 2000 to Windows 2003 Server or even to Windows 2008 (we are in process of testing for this option, please check with us in few months, currently we are in February 2010).
